A private family relocating to Paris in September is seeking an experienced Russian and French-speaking nanny to care for their approximately 2-year-old child. The family is primarily considering the 7th, 8th, 15th or 16th arrondissement.
The child currently has a Russian-speaking nanny who manages the main daily care. This role will focus primarily on French-language communication, play, activities and language development, while working collaboratively with the existing nanny.
Duties include:
- Communicating with the child in French and Russian.
- Organising educational, creative and active age-appropriate activities.
- Supporting language development through play and everyday interactions.
- Occasionally assisting with meals, routine and potty training.
- Accompanying the child to educational, sports and developmental activities.
- Keeping the child’s bedroom, toys and play areas tidy.
- Working closely with the other nanny to ensure consistent and coordinated care.
Schedule: 4 days per week, 12:00–17:00
Start: Flexible, once the right candidate is found
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience, qualifications and education
Employment: Employment contract or self-employed arrangement can be discussed
Requirements: Excellent experience with toddlers, fluent French and Russian, warm and engaging personality, and a genuine interest in supporting the child’s development and bilingual environment.
